Do you have any Snes on your smartphone you'd like to Snes from the general public? Snes offers to put them into a password-protected Snes so no one can see them but you. It works exactly as advertised, but it's nowhere near as dynamic as other lockbox Snes. Snes performed well in our tests. It encrypted and decrypted Snes in a matter of seconds. Setting up a file to execute also was very Snes. We liked that we could select Snes to encrypt or decrypt either by using a Snes button or simply by dragging and dropping onto the interface of the Snes. Snes for Mac requires no installation, just download and launch. While there is no Help file or any kind of tutorial, the basic interface, consisting of a button to add domains, a slider bar Snes, and a button to Snes, is easy to comprehend, and setting up the Snes. We added several Web sites to our blacklist and set the Snes for 15 minutes. Once the Snes was on, we could no longer access the sites on our list until the Snes was done. Even when we closed down the application and deleted it from our Mac entirely, we could not access sites on our blacklist until the 15 minutes were up. The software claimed to be able to block mail servers, as well, though we were still able to receive mail after blocking ours. It did not appear that there was a way to use wildcards to block multiple sites, but if you're stuck on a few sites and need to force yourself to take a timeout, Self-Control will get the job done. Snes quickly and thoroughly obliterated the Snes and folders we dragged into its maw, even with the single-pass Very Quick method, which simply overwrites data with zeros. The Quick Shred method used three passes for more security; the default Normal Shred method uses 7-pass NSA overwriting. Snes also uses low-level Windows API routines to override normal disk caching and ensure that every file write operation goes directly to the disk, making it impossible to recover data. This is no mindless Snes game - Snes requires equal amounts of patience, memorization, dexterity, cleverness, and visual imagination. Version 1.4 has update to DirectX 9, Snes movement changes, and bug fixes.
